Big Sur, California Adventure Engagement Session
Tonight I'm up late working on the wedding from this weekend at Memory Gardens in Monterey. It struck me as I got off the phone today with another 2018 bride that almost all my brides feel like friends. What an honor that they chose me to hang out with on such a monumental day. This weekend I couldn't stop laughing and crying right along with the bridal party. Mom's zipping up dresses and fathers walking their daughters down the aisle get me EVERY TIME. As I work on editing (and eventually posting) Andy and Gee's wedding from this weekend I wanted to catch my blog up with the last engagement session I did in Big Sur. Lyndsey and I grew up together and I was so excited when she asked me to tag along for an adventure. These blonde babes are gorgeous and make such a sweet couple.
I’m a Super 8mm lover. There is nothing like those flickering frames and overscan vibes. I own a Braun Nizo that I've used for personal and wedding work. But man, $200 per roll is tough. So to say I've been waiting for something like the Fuji Instax Mini Evo Cinema is an understatement. I’ll be comparing the mini Instax Mimi cinema, the camp snap, and my traditional Braun Nizo. Disclaimer: nothing is beating the original, but we are using it for comparison. I will be updating this blog as I use the camera more, but I wanted to get my initial impressions up and out to you.
