Intimate Stories.
Honest Moments.
Sincere Love.

I feel the most inspired by wide open rugged landscapes and small intimate moments.

I'm a California native who loves to travel and chase the light in Big Sur, Oregon, Yosemite and beyond. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and I'm a registered nurse. When I'm not taking photos or chasing my kids, I'm usually behind a good book. I'm married to my life long sweetheart and I have a daughter and son and the cutest puppy in the world.

We love to travel to the mountains, rivers and beaches. I’m an avid lover of Pendelton jackets, romance novels, black and white photographs and cheap sunglasses.

5 Great Reasons to Elope

  • It’s just all about you two!

You get to literally do WHATEVER you want, sunrise hike? Pizza picnic? Let’s do it!

  • You can forget about formalities.

Throw tradition to the wind (or include parts that speak to you). You can kiss before you say I do, you can wear whatever color dress you want, you can worry about zero expectations and pressures from family and friends.

  • It’s friendly with your budget and sanity.

Elopement budgets go towards activities and experiences not serving 100 guests and flower arrangements. From kayaking to a helicopter tour your budget goes farther.

  • It’s an experience you can share.

You both will probably be experiencing a new place together for the first time, or doing a new activity you’ve never done. You’re crafting your unique memories.

  • It’s about connection.

Wide open landscapes and the one you love, it’s simple, it’s meaningful and it’s important.

Elopement Day Timeline

FAQ

  • How many Video/Phone calls do we get with you?

Generally two! One zoom pre-booking, so please make sure both you and your partner can make it! One zoom post booking ( if needed) to go over a tentative timeline of your elopement day!

  • Do you offer one hour elopement packages?

I want to capture all the moments a big wedding has. Three hours is the minimum amount of time I offer to capture your day on our coast. From getting ready. to reading your vows and enjoying your time together three hours goes very quickly!

  • What if I don’t know where I want to elope?

I love to help you plan! I include help in the planning process with all elopement packages. Once your deposit and contract are received I will send you a list of preferred vendors and location ideas!

  • What do we do if it rains?

On the California coast rain is generally not an all day affair, I’m usually able to adjust your session time based on weather predictions. A light drizzle or wind can be part of a beautiful experience and images!

  • What if I’m scared of heights but want to do an adventure session?

Not a problem! I just ask you to make me aware ahead of time so I can plan locations in the redwoods or on the beach.

  • Where should we eat?

I have a local food guide here.

  • How much are your sessions?

You can find all session info here.

  • What should I wear?

I will send you a style guide as soon as your deposit and contract are signed!

  • What is the best time to shoot?

I love golden hour into blue hour on the coast. This is generally an hour before sunset but if we’re shooting in the forest or you are willing to wake up for a sunrise session these times change! I really try to avoid shooting in mid day light.

  • Are you LBGTQ friendly?

Love is Love! I absolutely love capturing love in all shapes, sizes and colors!

  • Do you do formal family photos?

Yes! Although my work is centered around emotion and moments I do take traditional family photos during your wedding and elopement. Keep in mind if your focus is on everyone smiling at the camera most of your day, we are probably not a good fit.

  • Can we use an adventure session for our elopement?

NO! I want you to have options, and ultimately have an EXPERIENCE not just a photo shoot. I want you to dance cliff side to your favorite song, pop champagne, have a first look, have a personalized timeline that we work on together, have getting ready photos, and have my help during the whole process. ( along with a full guide ).
You deserve memories! So no adventure sessions cannot be used for an elopement.
