Samuel H. Boardman State Park Elopement

Kelsey and Shea eloped along the Samuel H. Boardman Corridor on a beautiful sunny day in Oregon. Kelsey and Shea had been to the Jedediah redwoods a few years ago and fell in love with the trees. Shea and Kelsey traveled from their home in Idaho with their dog Winston. Winston was soo much fun to have along, I loved his head peaking out of the car and checking out his parents getting ready. Shea is a woodworker and does incredible work. Their ring box was crafted by hand by Shea and I loved his turquoise bolero!

The couple decided to get ready together on opposite sides of their Jeep in the redwoods and then have their first look in the redwoods behind them. Shea and Kelsey had several off-the-beaten-path trails that they had scouted before their wedding day. We went to a second path at Jedediah Smith Redwoods for their ceremony, as light streamed through the trees they did rock, paper, scissors for who would read their vows first. I was their officiant and they exchanged rings right as the light tucked behind the mountains.

We adventured from Jedediah Smith Redwoods to Samuel H. Boardman and were able to capture the last glimmers of sunset as they ran through the waves, had their first dance, and toasted to their marriage. I had so much fun adventuring with Shea and Kelsey in Oregon on their elopement day. Thank you both so much for your trust, adventure, and vision, I loved being a small part of your story.
