Big Sur California Intimate Coastal Proposal //Billy and Stephanie
Working with Billy on surprising Stephanie his soon-to-be fiance was so much fun! Billy was corresponding with me from out of town, we knew he wanted a spot overlooking the ocean that would be high-heel-appropriate. We discussed how he wanted the proposal to go, and we discussed several options. Billy decided on pretending the surprise was a couples photoshoot, and we had a code word. After posing them for a while, I instructed them to stand back to back without touching. While Stephanie was told to look off in the distance Billy was getting down on a knee. Then I got to witness the elation as I said now turn around and face each other. I immediately started crying, their love was palpable, and getting to be a part of such an intimate time was such an honor.
M & K eloped in last week. They started their wedding day at The La Playa Hotel in Carmel for their get-ready photos then they traveled to the ceremony in a vintage Thunderbird to Fanshell Beach along 17-Mile drive. We then adventured to Big Sur for cliffside sunset photos and their first dance on the beach and a toast to the newly married couple.
