Cannon Beach Oregon Elopement
C + N eloped last week at the beautiful Cannon Beach in Oregon. The fog slowly rolled in on their wedding afternoon as they got ready amongst their closest family members. They stayed at a beautiful Airbnb right on Cannon Beach, perfect for their first look. They had their ceremony with family and friends on Indian Beach with the beautiful black pebbles and driftwood, it was such a dramatic contrast to C’s white dress. They left their family and friends after the ceremony to cut cake amongst the beach grass and dance among the waves. C + N wanted to say some private vows after their ceremony amongst family, and we went to a beautiful cliffside location for their vows as the sun dipped below the horizon, and the elk came out to graze as their witness. I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful wedding day.

If you’re wondering what to do for your engagement photos—you’re not alone.
Most couples come in saying:
“We want something natural… but we have no idea where to start.”
The truth is, the best engagement sessions aren’t built around poses.
They’re built around experiences.
At Flora Gibson Photography, I approach engagement sessions like a quiet story unfolding—something you step into, not perform.
Here are ideas that will help your photos feel like you.
